      Content: A site dedicated to the 284th Combat Engineers during WWII, 284th Engr. C. Bn. Their journey started at Camp Breckinridge, KY for basic training, then on to Camp Shanks to ship off to the war aboard the Marine Raven. After some more training in England the 284th then shipped to France to be used as infantry during the Battle of the Bulge, then on to the Roer Crossing, the bridge at Remagen, through Cologne and on to Nuremberg eventually ending the war in Landshut. Then back to Nuremberg to fix it up for the trials. After which they were sent to Marseilles to prepare to ship out for the invasion of Japan.
